About the Event

Dear community members,

This Thursday, September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day.

This is an important day to honour residential school survivors and their families, and affirm and re-affirm our commitment to each other and the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.

The Prince Albert Urban Indigenous Coalition (PAUIC) in partnership with the Community Building Youth Futures Prince Albert (CBYF PA) will be hosting a virtual event on Thursday, September 30 at 10:00am.

A commemorative and educational video will be premiered at this time on the PAUIC YouTube channel. You may view the video at the following link: https://youtu.be/o7L5dCxcPyI

Please wear orange and join us.

The video will be available for on-going viewing.

We strongly encourage you to listen, learn, and reflect on this day and how we can make a better future together.

We’ve included a poster about the event and welcome you to share this with others.

Thank you,

PAUIC and CBYF PA
